The Cadet Program is a one-year program that provides District of Columbia residents between the ages of 18 and 21 years old. Everyone gets trained as firefighter and EMT.
Requires 2.5 GPA
Driver's License or Provisional License or Learner's Permit at the time of the application
Be a DC Resident
Graduate from a DC High School

Starting salary: $29,120
Salary after certified: $55,030
